Chloe Obispo and Kendra Allen sign their Letters of Intent

Chloe Obispo and Kendra Allen, both seniors at Landstown High School in Virginia Beach, VA, signed letters of intent to play collegiate softball at Division 1 universities. Chloe, a 2nd baseman on the 18U Virginia Legends Premier-Johnston team, will attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County next fall. Kendra, a Shortstop on the 18U Virginia Legends Premier-Johnston team, will attend the University of Massachusetts next fall. Congrats to both Kendra and Chloe on preparing to move to the next level!!!

Bree Thompson commits to Wagner College

Bree Thompson, a senior at Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, and an outfielder on the 18U VA Legends Premier-Johnston team commits to play collegiate division 1 softball to Wagner College in New York. Congratulations Bree!!

D9 Fall Classic Showcase

The 18U Virginia Legends Premier team, led by Coach Tim Johnston, had an excellent showing in the D9 Fall Classic Showcase in Orlando, Florida Oct. 26th-29th. Out of 7 games, 1 practice game and 6 showcase games, the girls’ ended with a record of 5-2. They scored 39 runs, outscoring their competition 2 to 1, and played some of the top teams in the nation, including teams from Florida, California, Washington, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. It was a very successful weekend with numerous college coaches watching from all levels, and many of them showing interest in several of our girls.

The girls had some fun off the field during their trip to Orlando, with some going to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights and some going to Downtown Disney.
